Vehicles
I love building and maintaining vehicles. The maintenance gives me vital experience to study some great and some terrible designs in a matter of a couple of hours that took thousands of man hours to create. The building of my own lets me REALLY learn how to use all the stuff I learn in class.
Snowboarding
I've been boarding since about 12 years old and love it. I grew up riding Sugar Bowl and enjoy going there, but also venture to North Star and occasionally Kirkwood. I rarely ride in Terrain Parks as I don't like the thought of broken bones. Powder in the trees is my preferred run, but ripping down a groomer at 45 mph ain't too bad either.
Wakesurfing
Wakeboarding is fun, but wakesurfing is so much more fun! A truly endless wave and its so much less work compared to wakeboarding. The first video shows me and my brother wakesurfing on a skim board at Shasta Lake and then the second is mostly my brother when we were at Lake Powell. He actually knows what he's doing on that thing.
Camping/Backpacking
Great way to clear the head!
Motorcycle riding
I've got a Honda 929 that I've been taking out lately. That thing is a dream to ride, while also being a bit of a handful. 120 some-odd HP is nothing to joke about when the vehicle only weighs about 400 pounds. At some point I'd love the opportunity to track it, but not sure when that will happen. Discovering a whole new way to travel the world.
